Redding S. DeVaughn, 68, died peacefully at Spanish Oaks Retreat on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

The New Orleans, LA native was born on October 1, 1954 to the late William Sherwood DeVaughn and Elizabeth Marlowe DeVaughn. Redding spent his childhood in Washington, GA where he graduated from Wilkes Academy. He was a University of Georgia gradaute and was employed by the family’s insurance business for many years.  

Surviving are a sister, Julie Lattimore(Bill) of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you consider a donation in Redding’s memory to a charity of your choice.
